About Global Ship Broker

Global Ship Broker is a maritime trade platform built for the modern shipping industry. We connect ship owners, cargo owners, and licensed brokers through a transparent marketplace with AIS vessel tracking, structured offers, messaging, and accepted-offer transaction handoff.

Our platform covers the core discovery and negotiation workflow for vessel sales, time charter, voyage charter, and cargo booking. Users can complete identity verification (KYC), post listings, match with counterparties, negotiate via structured offers, and move accepted offers into transaction records.

Platform transparency: KYC verification is a voluntary step that unlocks full platform trust signals. Not every participant on the platform has completed KYC. Verified status is shown on listings and profiles. Stripe payment preparation is available on accepted offers only when payment credentials are configured; Global Ship Broker is not a regulated escrow agent. AIS tracking data is sourced from configured providers or simulated for demonstration when no data key is configured.

Mission

To make maritime trade more accessible, transparent, and efficient — removing friction, information asymmetry, and counterparty risk from the brokerage process.

How the platform works

Register & verify

Create an account and optionally complete KYC. Verified participants receive trust badges visible to counterparties.

List or search

Post vessel sale listings, available vessels, or cargo requests. Browse and filter by type, route, size, laycan, and more.

Match and negotiate

Platform matching surfaces relevant counterparties. Communicate securely through built-in messaging. Send, counter, and accept offers.

Convert accepted offers

Accepted offers can be converted into transaction records with deal status, checklist, timeline, and Stripe payment preparation when configured.
